Sagging in the upper arm may develop as a result of aging and significant weight gain or loss. When this happens, the skin on the underside of the upper arm takes on a bag-like appearance. This situation is more noticeable when the arm is extended out. This sagging skin and subcutaneous tissue is surgically removed. Laser lipolysis may be sufficient for patients with minimal skin sagging.
