Looseness and sagging of the facial skin may occur due to the passage of time (aging) and as a result of excessive weight gain and loss. Depending on the amount of looseness and sagging, this can be corrected with face lift surgery or thread hanging (Silhouette Soft). Face lift surgery is performed with general anesthesia, while thread lifting is performed with local anesthesia.
